This policy explains what information KeePilot ("KeePilot," "we," "us") collects when you join our founding guardians waiting list, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It covers this pre-launch website only.
Information we collect
When you submit the waiting-list form, we collect only what you provide:
- Name and email address (required)
- Phone number (optional)
- State or location you select
- Whether you opted in as a beta tester
We also collect privacy-friendly, aggregate usage analytics (page views and basic events). These analytics do not use cookies and do not track you across other websites.
Why we use it
We use your information solely to add you to our waiting list, to contact you when KeePilot launches, and (if you opted in) to invite you to beta testing. Our legal basis for processing is your consent, which you give by submitting the form. We do not use it for any other purpose.
How it is stored and shared
Your details are stored with MailerLite, our email service provider, which processes the data on our behalf. We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we share it only with service providers that help us operate the waiting list (such as MailerLite and our hosting provider, Vercel). Data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections.
How long we keep it
We keep your information until KeePilot launches and we have contacted you, or until you ask us to delete it or unsubscribe, whichever comes first.
Your choices and rights
You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send, or by emailing us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights:
- EU / UK (GDPR): access, correction, deletion, portability, objection, restriction, and the right to withdraw consent or lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
- California (CCPA/CPRA): the right to know, delete, and correct your information, to opt out of sale or sharing (we do not sell or share your data for cross-context advertising), and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
To exercise any of these, email admin@keepilot.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Children
KeePilot is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and restricted access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as KeePilot evolves. The effective date above reflects the latest version.
